I was wrong and I admit it!

I stand corrected. #Clemson is number 3 and #OSU is still numero uno. My bad. . .

Collegiate Football on the Field and on your Fan

Collegiate football is on a tear and we're buckling our seatbelts and holding our breath collectively for more action.  ‪#‎Clemson‬ (also an FBD school) has bolted to the top of the ‪#‎AP‬ standings, leaving ‪#‎TCU‬ in the 6 position with ‪#‎MichiganState‬ following close behind at number 7. The ‪#‎FloridaState‬‪#‎Gators‬ are in the 8 spot and ironically, are one of FBDs officially licensed schools. Who knew so much could happen in a week?

LSU Tigers Bump TCU Out of the 4 Spot

Like a daytime soap opera, the never-ending saga of college football, is well, never-ending.  This week the Louisiana State Tigers took over the 4th position in the nation in football, sending the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs down to the 5th spot.  Because it changes so quickly, we don't have much time to marvel, but what we do know is that Fan Blade Designs holds licensing on the top 7 schools in the country. Coincidence you say?  We think not.

How it all came to be. . .

It was Christmas Eve 2013 when my husband David had his epiphany about Fan Blade Designs and how they could change the face of ceiling fans everywhere.  The holidays just seemed like a natural fit for this type of product.  In observation of his idea, and its translation to seasonal home decor, we've put all of our Halloween inspired covers on sale for $24.99 plus free shipping.  We think they're "fang-tactic."

Tropical Tuesday Means Cool Discounts

Because we love the islands, choosing tropical prints and Hawaiian themed covers was a no brainer.  We even got officially licensed with the University of Hawaii. But now that fall is here and we're longing for some island-style weather, we've decided to put all things Hawaiian on sale ($8 off the U of H covers, $6 off all of our Tropical Designs).  So get the Lysol antibacterial wipes and a sturdy ladder out and get busy. Then put a set of Tropical Fan Blade Designs on your fan and put yourself in an Island state of mind. It's a beautiful way to spend the day. . .

September 11

It seems surreal that it was 14 years ago today that New York City's skyline was under attack and that Americans became aware from that moment on, the way we saw ourselves and our place in the world, would change.  What doesn't change is that this day marks the anniversary of loss of life of loved ones, friends and family and in a broader sense, the loss of innocence for Americans all over the planet.
